How it works

  1. Start a conversation
Tell us what you care about and what you hope to accomplish.
  2. Build a plan
Together we choose the right fund and approach, with your financial advisor if you wish.
  3. Put it into action
Recommend grants and add to your fund while we take care of the details.
  4. Review together each year
Each year, we invite you to look back at your giving and plan what comes next. You can also check in anytime.

An annual review of your giving

Each year, we invite you to look back at your giving with us. Seeing several years together can reveal patterns that are hard to spot one gift at a time, and many fundholders value that view whether or not they want to change a thing.

What your review can include:

A look back at your gifts and grants over the past year, or several years, and the patterns they show

Updates on the organizations and causes you support most

Updates on the organizations and causes you support most

Any changes you would like to make including successor advisors, investment options, or future plans

If you are interested, ideas for growing your fund, starting a new one, or involving family

Want to stretch your charitable investment?

Many fundholders set aside a portion of their grantmaking to join the Foundation and other donors on promising initiatives that support regional priorities and call for collective action.
